About the Studio: Studio Overland & Underwood is a magical nook in my office where my eclectic thoughts and visions become tangible. That’s on a good day. Most of the time it’s a place to record a moment, fuss about an idea or give relief to the jumble in my head.

About Me: I love the moment when the lights dim in the movie theater but just before the movie starts. I like the sound my Canon F1 makes when I take a picture and I also like the sound of train horns in the distance. An Atlas can entertain me for hours. I like the word Atlas, it’s on my list of favorite baby names. I have a list of favorite baby names. And sometimes I like to think about what the personalities of my future children will be like. When I hear French Canadian folk music I feel an ancestral pull at my heart. I wish I could play the fiddle. I stole a glass ashtray from a hotel room in Paris when I was 8. I was arrested once but by then I was 24 and it was for fighting against injustice. I dream about living in a farmhouse in the countryside with a garden and maybe the house will be near a lake. I like to swim naked in lakes. I enjoy the mysteries of life and I’m always curious about the future. In August 2009 I married the loveliest man with the loveliest heart.
